Annual Photographic Competition Organiser

Once a year the Pond Society has a photographic competition for its members. The organiser chooses a theme for photos taken at Fleet Pond. These are received throughout the autumn and then a judge(s) selected by the organiser chooses winners and runners up in age categories to receive certificates. The overall winner receives a rosebowl at the annual general meeting (AGM) in February the next year. The judge(s) will provide feedback on the winning photos when they are shown at the AGM. The public vote for their own winner from all the photos submitted as they will be displayed at the AGM too.

 

Skills

Doesn’t need to be an expert photographer.  Good organiser and communicator. Some IT skills desirable for displaying photographs. Capable of finding someone who can judge a good photo.  Previous organiser will do simple handover.
