Are you looking for a volunteer role with no minimum commitment?
Do you care about what is happening with YOUR local NHS?
Then we need you!
Join our exciting new volunteer bank which allows you and others to give views on local NHS services. We want to design and develop local services to make them work for you but to do this we have to understand what you need.
The tasks and projects we offer our bank of Community Ambassador volunteers are varied and there is no minimum commitment. Tell us what interests you and we will try to match you with something that sparks your interest. Maybe you’re at work full time but still want to be involved, no problem we have ways that you can have your say and help others to as well.
Here are a couple of examples of what you could be asked to do:
Collect the feedback of patients using a particular service so that it can be improved.
Use your own lived experience to help the people that design services do this more effectively.
Help us to plan an event which reaches out to the community on a particular health issue
You don’t have to say yes to a task or project and we understand you have a busy life. If your situation changes, no problem just let us know. No specific experience is necessary. We offer a full induction and the Coordinator is always on the end of the phone to support you or listen to feedback.
As we grow our bank of volunteers you can expect quarterly meet ups so you can hear what your fellow volunteers have been up to, meet new people and maybe learn something new.
We are making a start in Hook and Hartley Whitney - so why not get involved?
As a volunteer you do not need any specific experience and we welcome volunteers from all backgrounds.
Ideally you will have good communication skills and enjoy meeting people.
This opportunity enables volunteers to choose which activities they get involved with.
A full induction is given and there is ongoing support; there are also opportunities for you to meet and network with other volunteers.
There is no minimum commitment required and should your availability or circumstance change just let us know.
