Would you like to make a real difference to your local health service by collecting patient feedback?
This role involves guiding patients and their families through an on-line survey where they can share their experience of Frimley Health Trust. The information collected is then utilised to help evaluate the Trust's performance.
Tasks include:
- Using your personal phone to upload a QR code to carry out the surveys (no information is stored on the phone). The phone is only used as a gateway to send information to the out-patient experience team.
- Announcing your arrival to the nurse in charge when visiting wards, and explain the purpose of your visit.
- Introduce yourself to patients, relatives and visitors on wards, providing a friendly and positive impression of the hospital.
- Guide patients and their families through the survey tool being used.
- Ensure the computer tablet is sanitised between patients.
- Alert
supervisory staff to areas of concern.
- Keep all information given or discussed within the hospital confidential.
- Attend relevant training sessions provided by your department.
- Demonstrate the Frimley Health Trust values in actions and behaviours.
The Trust welcomes volunteers aged 16+ - this is a lovely role for students looking towards a career in health or social care.
Please note recruitment involves an initial introductory session at Frimley Park Hospital, followed by the completion of an application form and then a further meeting/interview and DBS check - therefore there are two visits required to Frimley Park prior to any volunteering. The introductory sessions are run at the start of each month.
