As our counselling service is growing and meeting new needs for our clients, we are keen to invite new volunteer counsellors to join our service.
We are looking for:
- experienced and newly qualified counsellors
- counsellors who able to work remotely via telephone & video
- counsellors who can work both face- to- face as well as remotely
- counsellors who are BACP registered or equivalent, and can work on a voluntary basis with survivors of rape and sexual abuse in Surrey, offering both long and short term one-to-one work with clients
In return, we offer free, three-weekly group
supervision, six free trauma-related training workshops per year, travel
expenses (where applicable), and membership of a team of mutually-supportive
counsellors, supervisors and the RASASC organisational network, all of whom are
passionate about our work. There are also occasional social gatherings!
