Shop Assistant and Social Distance Monitor

The Community Furniture project, based in Houndmills Basingstoke,  sells a wide range of donated furniture, electrical and household items, including chairs, sofas, table, beds, fridges, washing machines, bric-a-brac and more.  They operate a two tier pricing system charging those on benefits and pensions 30% below the marked price of most items.    They  are hoping to re open their shop on 15th June 2020 and  are short of volunteers as most of their original volunteers are disabled or social distancing owing to medical conditions.  The project  needs  volunteers to help with the roles of  Social Distance Monitor or Sales Assistant    Slots will be from 10am to 12.30pm and 1.30pm to 4.30pm Mondays to Fridays.  Training will be provided.
