Work with "hidden" members of our society that have been affected by criminal trauma in some way.
These are mostly family members and friends of offenders,
who often feel isolated and can lose their support networks through the action
of someone else.
We need Supporters to provide an active supportive role during a
member’s journey, perhaps through the
stages of arrest through court, sentencing and prison – only as requested.
Skills
Supporters will have
a counselling/ listening qualification or demonstrable experience.
