Thursday Lunch Club Volunteer

Make a difference in an older person's life. As a helper you will meet and escort members from their transport into the club room, help them settle in and assist with the activities, making them feel safe within the club. Also assist with setting up and clearing away at the end of the meeting.

Talking to somebody who has not had a proper conversation with another human being for a few days is very important. You will be playing a major role in combatting loneliness, ensuring the members feel valued and cared for.

We're a really friendly team providing a fabulous service for our lovely elderly members - we'd love to hear from anyone who can lend a hand!

You would not need to commit to attending every week - just as and when needed to help out!

Friendly with good communication skills. Happy to work as part of a small team.
We have a lovely cook so it's all about lending a hand.
