Administration Support

Do you have some good office skills? Are you a good team player with lots of enthusiasm? We are looking for a committed volunteer to provide sighted one to one support to the charity chair who is blind, to enable them to fulfil their role in the office.

Tasks may include -

Support within meetings, enabling introductions, networking, note taking

Attending courses, seminars or similar events

Assist with elements of the job role including using IT and other equipment, General office administration filing etc.

Formatting project proposals and other documents and ensure that they appear professional.

Support to use workplace facilities including making drinks, preparing snacks and to access bathrooms (no personal care)

Reading mail and other documents (information and instructions)

Assist with item recognition/sorting

Maintain confidentiality about the employees you support and about information you are provided with

Be aware of and highlight safety risks

Skills

Experience working in an office environment

IT Skills including (Word, Excel)

Good communication and interpersonal skills

High attention to detail

Flexibility and reliability

Patience
