Good organisational and keyboard skills, coupled with a few hours a week to spare?
We are looking for volunteers to help with some simple administrative tasks which include the return, documenting and re mailing out of computer 'memory sticks' which enable our clients to listen weekly to 'talking newspapers.'
The role includes receiving back the memory sticks from our clients, wiping the recording clean, ready for the latest news stories to be recorded onto them, logging / documenting the memory sticks onto our computer system (this is performed by scanning with a bar code) and mailing back out to our clients.
Volunteers usually 'work' in pairs and volunteer one morning or afternoon a week (Weds / Fri) however we are happy for volunteers to do more hours if they would like to.
We are located just off of West st, Farnham and there is plenty of free parking available. Volunteers must be 18+.
Excellent organisational skills, IT literate; although nothing too technical!
Volunteers will receive full training and ongoing support from our friendly team.
