Local to Yateley, enjoyed helping local people during the pandemic?

We are looking for volunteers to join our team of support and befriending volunteers helping some of the older members of our community who are often isolated and quite lonely.

Activities include popping in for a cuppa and a chat, helping with shopping or maybe a prescription collection. Accompanying an older person on a short outing to perhaps the library or local garden centre. Volunteers can choose activities and only undertake what they feel comfortable undertaking.

Just a couple of hours once a week or fortnight, at a time to suit you, can make all the difference to an older person in our community!

Full training given and an enhanced DBS check.
