Branch Chair (Basingstoke)

Parkinson’s UK Basingstoke is one of 400 local groups across the UK, run by volunteers, which together support thousands of people affected by Parkinson’s.

Our Basingstoke Branch is seeking a forward thinking and dynamic Branch Chair to provide leadership to the group.

You will liaise with the wider charity to bringing out the best in the volunteer team and chair our local committee which meets every two months, usually in the evening.

You will use your leadership skills to shape support, friendship and the activities offered in Basingstoke, which combine to help local people living with the Parkinson’s condition.


Being a good listener. Excellent communication and organising skills are essential. A sense of humour is a distinct advantage!
