Can you help with our new club Memory Lane, Farnborough?

The club is dedicated to supporting people living with dementia in the Farnborough area.

It is being provided in partnership with "Home Instead Senior Care"  a local service provider.

A full program of entertainers, instructors and speakers is being developed, club members and their carers will be consulted about what they might like to have included

Skills

We are seeking happy, enthusiastic and caring individuals aged 16 and over to join our team of volunteers and help us deliver a dementia friendly service to club members and their carers from meeting and greeting to encouraging engagement with activities.

The club helper role involves ensuring the venue is safe and welcoming for our members by setting the room up appropriately, helping anyone with limited mobility, engaging with our members and their carers and helping with the activities and refreshments. You may also have a specific skill or interest you would like to share with our members.

This would also appeal to volunteers with an interest in health and social care.

This is a fantastic opportunity to give something back to the community and experience the positive impact your volunteering can have to help improve the lives of local people living with dementia.
