Chill Zone Volunteer

We are on the hunt for a couple of volunteers to help man our ‘Chill Zone’ tent during the Fleet Carnival on Sunday 7th July.

Our ‘Chill Zone’ space provides autistic people and their families with a safe and quiet place to take a break from the noise and crowds, which can be quite overwhelming.

The role will involve welcoming autistic adults or families with autistic children to the tent and providing a cold drink if required.

Volunteers are welcome from 18+ but will need to either have an existing knowledge of working with children with autism or alternatively have attended one of our free training sessions. Our next one hour Basic Autism Awareness training session will be at Fleet Library on 22nd May from 12.30pm to 1.30pm.
