As a committee member you will be instrumental in helping to set up the GNN Group enabling it to run safely and effectively.
The service being set up is that of a providing transport to local residents to take them to doctors, dentists, hospitals and shopping using a network of volunteer car drivers.
As part of the Good Neighbours Network, you will benefit from the support provided by Network Advisors at the Network hub.
The committee structure fosters a real sense of teamwork and mutual support beneficial to the successful running of the Good Neighbours group. Each member of the committee plays a particular part, the core roles being Chairperson, Coordinator, Treasurer, Secretary and Safeguarding Representative.
Role descriptions are available for each of these members, but some responsibilities are interchangeable to suit the needs of an individual group.
