Community Cafe - Kitchen Porter

Our Community Cafe in Yateley is seeking dedicated Volunteer Kitchen Porters to play a vital role in our kitchen operations. As a Kitchen Porter, you'll be responsible for maintaining cleanliness, supporting basic food preparation and ensuring our kitchen runs smoothly. Your efforts directly contribute to our social enterprise mission, fostering teamwork and inclusivity. No prior experience is necessary, as training will be provided. If you're enthusiastic, reliable and eager to be part of a community-driven initiative, we'd love to have you on board! 

Responsibilities include:

  • Dishwashing and kitchen cleaning.
  • Support with basic food preparation tasks.
  • Assist in waste management and stock rotation.
  • Uphold health and safety standards in the kitchen.

Availability Details

Ideally volunteers would commit to one day per week minimum, during our opening hours of 9am-3pm (maybe 15-30 mins either side too). Half days are an option if you can't do a full session.
