Community Companions Volunteer Coordinator - Basingstoke

The role of our volunteer coordinators is to coordinate our local, community-based

befriending service, acting as the link between local older people using our service and our

community companions befriending volunteers. They help to recruit and support new volunteers

who they will match with an older person who requires companionship and help to live the life

they choose.


Understanding the needs of older people; Listening skills; Non-judgmental; Friendly

personality; Ability to work as part of a team; Good communication skills with the ability to travel

and meet people around the area; 

Must be 18+ and undergo a DBS check;

Need to have access to own transport.
