ConneXions Signposting Volunteer

The signpost service is a free and confidential information service available to anyone affected by any type of disability. ConneXions provides a great opportunity to meet new people whilst enjoying free refreshments. We also invite expert speakers to each session to give a short talk on topical issues concerning people affected by disability.

We are looking for a proactive volunteer who can help people affected by disability in Basingstoke and Deane, by signposting them to the appropriate agency for their enquiry. You will set up the table and banners, assist clients with their queries (without providing advice) and promote membership of BDDF. You may also need to support clients in completing forms and a feedback questionnaire.

We are in need of someone who can commit to approx 3 hours per session on a regular basis. These sessions are based at Basingstoke Discovery Centre and Tadley Community Centre.
