Elfest Charity Fundraiser Volunteers - 27th July 2019

If you're free on 27th July 2019 and have a few hours to spare to help make a success of a local fundraising event, we'd love to hear from you!

We organise an event called ElFest raising money for Basingstoke Intensive Care and CLIC Sargent in memory of Ellie Bostel who passed away in 2017. It is a family fun day based in Hook at The Old White Hart Pub. We have a full day of music and activities with something for everyone!

To enable us to send all donations made on the day straight to the charities we are relying on volunteers to kindly donate their time to help us on the big day.

Key Responsibilities include:

- Running a stall or Assisting with an Activity
- Cash handling
- Providing a warm, friendly service to the attendees

Skills

This role will suit people who have a friendly and enthusiastic manner and enjoy working with the public and, in particular, families and children. It is also a great opportunity for those looking for event experience and the option to be more involved in the running of the day is available for those who wish to.

Your willingness to jump in and help with any tasks that may arise will open doors to new experiences and allow you to make a difference in a variety of ways! And for those of you looking for work experience, an open mind and being ready to step up (even when unexpected things occur) will look great on a resume and build your personal skill set!
