If so, why not become a member of our team which undertakes garden maintenance for the elderly or disabled in the Basingstoke and Deane area.
Basingstoke Mencap is a local independent charity supporting people with a learning disability, a learning difficulty and/ or a mental health issue. We run services including leisure clubs, horticultural therapy and support for individuals. Our exciting plans depend upon a team of committed volunteers, so please come along and see if you would like to join us.
Our gardening volunteers need to be:
- Over 21
- full UK driving licence
- experience of garden maintenance
- trained in the use of petrol driven equipment
- able to drive our Vivaro van
- a regular commitment to the team is preferred. (e.g. 1 day a week)
- Age restrictions
