Hart Bank of Occasional Volunteers

Please note below description is now limited due to Covid19 restrictions but we do have the odd role coming through that needs help on an ad-hoc basis from volunteers:

Would you like the chance to provide one off help at community events in your local area but not commit on a regular basis? Every year, Hart Volunteer Centre is approached by many different organisations who are organising local events such as carnivals, festivals, fireworks, half marathons and concerts and are looking for volunteers to help with 'one off' volunteer activities. These range from marshalling to community clean up days etc. If you want to help out and gain a little community spirit yet not sign your life away this is the perfect role!

When opportunities arise, you will be contacted by the Volunteer Centre to find out whether you are interested in helping. If you are (and there is no pressure to help if you are busy or don't fancy that particular activity) - we will then put you in touch with the organisation leading the event who will provide you with further information about what is involved.

As a 'one off' volunteer role no specific skills required as these vary from role to role.
