Hart District Council’s Countryside Rangers manage many of North Hampshire’s important nature reserves and wildlife areas. They have a number of different opportunities available at a variety of locations. If you're interested in the environment, wildlife, or the outdoors you may well find a role for you.
Tasks include helping to maintain habitats, litter picking, and helping with events. Tasks are very diverse, ranging from very hands on roles to 'lighter tasks'.
When signing up we will consider any specific interests you may have concerning our sites and tasks.
We are aiming to build a fantastic, enthusiastic group of volunteers to help across the Hart Countryside sites.
Volunteering with us is also very flexible: You can volunteer weekly or as an on occasion volunteer and put your name down on what days and tasks suit you when we send out the Volunteer calendar. There is no pressure to attend tasks, sites and days that aren't right for you.
Skills
No special experience is necessary - just a love of the countryside and a willingness to talk to members of the public.
