Activity Helper Volunteer

Time on your hands? Enjoy chatting and meeting new people? We are seeking outgoing, friendly volunteers to enrich the lives of our senior residents.

Volunteering alongside our activity coordinators you will help support our residents with a range of fun activities. These include, but are not limited to, scrabble, 'team crosswords', flower arranging and sing-a-long sessions. Alternatively just having a 'cuppa and a natter' with a friendly face can make the world of difference to our residents.

We have Residential Care and specialist Memory Care, and volunteers can support either neighbourhood.

You will receive full training, begin new friendships and enjoy making a real difference by enriching the lives of others.

Volunteers ideally need to be 18+ but we are willing to look at 16+ if accompanied by an adult - so could suit those looking for a career within the sector or alternatively those looking for a volunteering experience for a personnel statement or CV.

Good communication skills.

Clear speaking voice.

Enjoy chatting and meeting older folks.

We would supply all PPE and also ensure you are part of our weekly COVID testing we have in place here.
