Join the Friendly Jublioaks Conservation Team

We are looking for new volunteers to join our small team on a working party improving the margins of a rural path used by walkers, cyclists, runners and families. The path is from Oakley to Kempshott.

Over the past 6 years Jubiloaks has planted over 2500 wild hedgerow plants and trees; as well as encouraging native wild flowers to spread through the area. Other work includes stacking deadwood, prune overhanging branches, scrape path edges and clearing leaves from the pathway.

We have 3 regular working parties each month - each lasts approx 2 hours - the 2nd Wednesday at 1000 hours; the 3rd Wednesday at 1330 hours and the last Saturday in the month at 1000 hours.

We welcome new members at any time of the year - to attend working parties on a regular basis, as an occasional attendee or students during the college holidays.

Willingness to work in the open air with suitable clothing and stout footwear.
