Would you like to join our team of dedicated volunteers? We are currently looking for ad-hoc kennel helpers to help care for our lovely, rescued greyhounds at short notice when one of our regular volunteers is unavailable.
The morning shift is an early start time of 8.00am as our dogs need their breakfast - so early birds only need apply! Duties can last to around 11am and then if you wish you can also help walk the dogs until around 1pm.
The evening shift is from 5-7pm and involves cleaning out, feeding, ensuring each dog is medically fit (no new injuries) and put each dog to bed for the night.
You will need to be fit and healthy and willing to undertake tasks such as cleaning out the kennels and feeding and grooming the dogs. Reliability is vital as the dogs depend on volunteers to keep them clean and fed each day.
