Litter Heros

Join our volunteers as custodians of Yateley Common, become a litter hero, and be our eyes and ears across the Common, helping to keep your local countryside clean and tidy and safe for wildlife.

Every day plastic bottles, cans, crisp packets and more are discarded across the countryside; not only is this rubbish unsightly, it is detrimental to the health of our natural environment.  Wildlife can eat discarded food and packaging making them ill, and bottles and cans can become death traps for smaller animals.

With your support we can help look after nature and make Yateley Common a safe and enjoyable place.  If you are interested in volunteering and would like to take on a patch to regularly litter pick then please can in touch.....

Armed with litter pickers and Hampshire Countryside Service volunteer tabbards you can choose when you volunteer and select a patch of the common to keep tidy..
