Fundraising in your community is a fantastic way to support Hampshire’s countryside in a way that suits you. It can be great fun and very rewarding.
Our fundraising volunteers are the face of CPRE Hampshire in their local communities. They raise awareness of the issues facing our countryside, while raising vital funds to support our work.
Whether you are involved with a school, small business, a group of friends or an individual, organising fundraising activities has never been easier. We are on hand to support you every step of the way and have many ideas for how you can get started.
The type of activities a local fundraising volunteer could be involved with:
Coordinates the placement of collection tins in local businesses.
Helps their workplace to become involved in fun fundraising activities.
Organises local fundraising events like walks, coffee mornings or pub quizzes.
Takes on a sporting challenge such as a bike ride, walk or run.
Looks for and communicates possible future fundraising opportunities to the central team.
Ideally we ask our fund raising volunteers to set a target of £1000.
We are looking for natural fundraisers who are:
Friendly and well natured.
Well organised, reliable and committed.
Confident communicating with a range of people.
Happy working as part of a team and individually.
