Reading Group Host- Haslemere Library

The Reading Group Host is the keystone of a library-based reading group.

The Host:

Reserves books for the group using the group card

Hosts meetings and facilitates discussions

Is the point of contact between the group members and the library staff

Leading reading group meetings and facilitating discussion, or supporting and encouraging other group members in doing so.


Applicants for this role should be:

Availability Details

Reading groups usually have up to 12 members, and may meet every 4 – 6 weeks for an hour. Time required: 1 – 2 hours per month (1 hour to host and facilitate the session, plus additional administrative and preparation time)
