Basingstoke Voluntary Action are looking for volunteers to help the Reception team at The Orchard, Basingstoke provide a highly professional service to residents and visitors. The role involves front of house reception tasks, such as meeting and greeting visitors, providing support to our resident organisations, answering telephone and email enquiries and general administrative tasks, such as preparing meeting rooms and helping with the mail.
This is a varied role that would suit someone looking to build on or develop their office skills.

The ideal volunteers for this role would have some level of computer literacy, or be willing to learn the basics, as well as a confident telephone manner. As the first point of contact for enquiries the volunteers need good people skills and a professional manner.
Experience in Reception or customer service desirable but not essential

We can accommodate morning or afternoon or daytime; 9am to 12pm, 1pm to 4pm or 9:30am to 2:30pm.
