Support Group Volunteer

We are a child bereavement charity and support children and young people in the county when they have been bereaved of someone important to them.

We run monthly support groups for children and young people aged 0-18. These provide a safe, fun, engaging environment where they can normalise their grief by meeting others and realising they are not alone and using therapeutic craft activities to help them tell their story, as they understand it, express their thoughts, feelings and emotions and learn some positive coping mechanism.

A kind, caring, compassionate, fun and bubbly personality.

Excellent communication skills are essential, particularly the ability to listen and acknowledge the grief journey and feelings being talked about.

A willingness to learn and a dedication to the support group each month
