As a Telephone Advisor you would be providing information and advice about special educational needs and disabilities.
Parents who contact us really appreciate the support our volunteers give.
This is an interesting and rewarding role and you can choose to as little or as much as you would like.
-Make a follow up call to parents or giving young people who have contacted Support4/SEND to discuss their concerns and questions
-Give parents general information and advice about special education needs and disabilities related to education
-Refer parents and young people to Support4/SEND permanent staff when more specialist advice or further support is needed
-update records of cases on the database
