Brighton Hill Preschool is located in Brighton Hill and employs around 9 members of staff, part-time and full time.  It is a charity run by a committee of volunteers.

We are currently looking for a flexible Volunteer Treasurer who is able to offer a weekly commitment.

You would be responsible for:

keeping the accounts up-to-date on google drive, drawing out paperwork as required including end of year reports

collecting receipts from pre-school and printing invoices and remittance advices to marry up to accounts

paying invoices in good time as well as monies for wages/HMRC (we have a company which handles the payroll), keep in contact via email with suppliers

collecting monies from the pre-school and depositing in the bank

be in weekly contact with other committee members and pre-school manager about issues arising, either via email, Whatsapp or in person as required


Confident with numbers and money handling


Some bookkeeper knowledge would be an advantage

Confident in dealing with people
