Would you like to be part of delivering an essential service to the older residents of Kempshott.
This is an opportunity to engage for the longer term in the management and development of the Kempshott Daytime Club, established in 2019 to provide social opportunities of various sorts for older residents of the area.
There is currently a team of volunteers who have developed a range of activities and facilities at Kempshott Village Hall for those over 65.
There are a number of opportunities we would like to develop, members of the community whom we do not yet accommodate and several co-operative links we would like to establish.
We are seeking volunteers who would consider trusteeship, who can rise to the challenge of developing the organisation’s activities for the long term and who may have past experience particularly useful in developing volunteer-run community organisations ( not essential but desirable).
The existing trustees are now planning for the future when they will personally be stepping down
from management of the organisation.
Empathy with older people, social skills, volunteer team management skills, ability to think and
plan longer term and strategically.
