Launched in March 2018 - The Daisy Chain Café offers a local, dementia friendly place for people with dementia or memory loss, their partners, families and friends to meet up for a chat and a coffee.
As a relatively new group we are now looking to expand our small board of trustees and are on the hunt for a business background retiree with a few free spare hours!
As a trustee you will work within a small, committed team looking to ensure the future growth and sustainability of the Café. Ideally we would hope our new board member would come from a marketing background and be happy to help with developing our marketing and fundraising strategy, however we will be happy to chat with any potential new trustees.
Excellent communication skills.
Business background - ideally with a marketing slant.
Available for approximately 6 meetings per year - Mondays 12pm-1.30pm.
Happy to contribute to growing the group and ensure it's future sustainability.
