A number of our trustees are due to retire soon so EPUK is now inviting applications of interest for this role.
We meet in London four times a year and probably communicate by email up to a few hours a week. EPUK is volunteer-led and unpaid except for essential travelling costs to meetings in London. The Board currently comprises 9 Trustees with a Chairman. As there are pending retirements, the Board is seeking volunteers to apply for election. We are especially interested in people who can offer marketing & financial skills. Someone with a little (not essential) scientific background would find this role extremely fulfilling.
Environmental Protection UKis a charity which was established

tranquil environment for all in the UK.
It aims to provide expert policy analysis and information on air
quality, land quality and noise and covers a wide range of issues including
public health, planning, transport, energy and climate. Scientific advice for
the Board is provided by the Air Quality, Land Quality & Noise Committees
the Chairs of which are also Trustees.
Charity trustees are the people who share ultimate responsibility
for governing a charity and directing how it is managed and
run. The duties of charity Trustees are set out by the Charity Commission.
