Assessing clients to establish the best way we can help is an essential part of managing and delivering our service.
As an assessor, you will be the first point of contact for clients who approach us for help. You will carry out an initial assessment with the client to identify the best way we can help them. This could be by providing them with information, signposting or referring them to another organisation, or arranging an appointment for detailed advice.
Some examples of what you could do:
- Find the information online that explains how to apply for Council Tax Support in a client’s local area and explain it to them
- Identify what steps a client can take to resolve their problem with a second hand car
- Help a client find and
understand what steps they can take to deal with their rent arrear
This is a great opportunity for someone who is looking for a new challenge and enjoys working with people. The work is very varied and you have a real chance to make a difference in someone’s life. We are looking for someone who can commit to a day (or two half) days a week and we provide comprehensive training and support as well as a very friendly working environment.
