Support When It Matters provides specialist support services to people engaged in the criminal justice system who may be facing complex life challenges. Often service users have multiple issues which means our work with them is all encompassing.
Volunteers to provide friendly support to the most vulnerable via regular telephone calls to help maintain health and wellbeing during this period of lockdown isolation. Volunteers will provide general conversations, helpful tips on how to occupy time in a pro social manner.
The vulnerability groups are split into High weekly calls Medium fortnightly call and Low once a month.
Outline of Duties:
To call clients for a period on a regular basis on mutual agreed times that meet clients’ needs.
Providing information and assistance to clients to enable them to make healthy choices which helps maintain their mental health and wellbeing during lockdown and the pandemic.
To help clients rediscovering social skill and confidence by building up and maintaining a close relationship within government guidelines.
