We are a small new charity looking for help in identifying relevant trusts and foundations to whom we can apply for funding.
The role in the main will focus on identifying the trusts and foundations and capturing this information digitally on excel. From there with the support of our board of trustees writing and submitting the relevant applications.
Alongside the above we would hope that an element of the role would be contacting and networking with local businesses for sponsorship / one off fundraising.
The role is home-based but we are all on the end of a phone / zoom / teams call to provide support and we would be more than happy to meet prospective volunteers for a cuppa and a chat.
Excellent literacy skills in order to write proposals and bids.
Experience in fundraising would be an advantageous.
Interest in marketing as lots of scope to look at branding / social media development too.
