Volunteer Music Coordinator for Community Radio Station

Helping Hands for the Blind community radio station are looking for someone with availability of 2 to 3 hours a week to assist the programme manager in coordinating the stations music.  Our station is located at The Roger Morris Centre in the Eastrop area of Basingstoke.

The role will involve :-

  • Managing the stations audio music library
  • Downloading / uploading new tracks as requested
  • Managing a varied musical playlist on an 8 week rotation
  • A willingness to help with any other admin task that may arise with in the role


Skills and Experience required : -

  • experienced in using computers and audio editing software
  • good communication and listening skills
  • patience, flexibility and a good sense of humour required
  • friendly and approachable manner
