Dab hand at DIY? Fabulous at fixing stuff? Super at sewing? If so, this is the perfect volunteer role for you, enabling you to put your repair skills to use whilst helping people in your local community and doing your bit for the planet too!
The North Hampshire Repair Cafe covers Odiham, Hartley Wintney, Hook, Sherfield-on-Loddon and surrounding villages. The sort of things we’ll do our best to repair include small household electrical appliances, some IT equipment, toys, clothing, furniture, garden tools, etc. We already have 10 intrepid volunteer repairers and are looking for more to join us!
Even if you don't fancy getting involved with the repairs themselves, we'd love some more friendly faces to help out with reception and with making teas and coffees as well.
Skills
If you enjoy DIY and fixing stuff at home, then we’d love to meet you - as you sound just like the extra volunteer repairers we’re looking for! We’re especially looking for clothing repairers.
The customer will pay for any parts needed, but volunteers will need their own tools.
We'd also love some friendly volunteers to get involved helping out with reception or making teas and coffees.
