We need an additional committee member to take responsibility for managing our volunteers.
They will be
Working with others to identify volunteer roles and opportunities for volunteer involvement
Working with others to plan volunteer recruitment campaigns and activity
Managing volunteer vacancies in the volunteer group/Adoption Centre by advertising and promoting roles via Do-It, Volunteer Centres etc.
Managing the volunteer application process i.e. application forms, references and registration
Meeting with potential volunteers to provide information about vacant volunteer roles and Cats Protection
Helping to match potential volunteers with the role that is suitable for them
liaising with potential volunteers to keep them up to date with group/Adoption centre activity
Promoting a culture of volunteering best practice within Cats Protection
Good written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work on your own initiative
Excellent team working skills
Sound knowledge of IT
Experience in managing people especially volunteers
Experience of recruitment/interviewing
Confident in meeting new people
Good planning skills

Mainly working from home. Will need visits to the centre in Farnham on occasions.
