Volunteers needed to help manage the sale of
RSPB pin badges at locations in and around Basingstoke. The funds raised are
used to finance RSPB projects to protect wild birds and their habitats as well
as other wild life in the UK, as well as overseas.
1) Enjoy interacting with the public
2) Have an interest in nature
3) Identify sales opportunities (i.e. groups
/ people who are interested in nature or / and venues. The Green Week in
Basingstoke is an example)

The Committee of the Local Group, the Regional Office and national pin badge team will be able to provide ongoing support as required.
- Recruitment Process

The members of the group / the Regional Office will take the volunteer through the processes required to complete the tasks.
- Volunteer induction
This will be flexible and will depend on where pin badge sales are to be carried out, any local events to be attended for sales opportunities and the need to interact / coordinate with those at the sales points and RSPB Basingstoke Local Group.
