A creative service at the heart of Hampshire Communities which prides itself on meeting the evolving needs for reading, information, learning and enjoyment. (Library Vision and Strategy) Basingstoke Discovery Centre is a public library which provides stock for loan - such as printed and audio-books, magazines, DVDs and music CDs etc as well as reference stock to consult, including Local History material.
There is also access to reference online materials and e-books, and free access to the internet ("Go Online") and free wi-fi.
Rooms are available for hire for community groups and there are various on-going events and activities for members of the community.
