Basingstoke Rape and Sexual Abuse Crisis Centre [BRASACC] is a single standalone registered charity. Independent from any other similar organisation, we are not part of the police force or local government. We rely on grants, donations from the public and income from our training course and presentations to keep running. Rape, sexual assault or sexual abuse can happen to anyone regardless of their age, gender, race, religion, culture or social status or sexuality. Living with the consequences of rape and sexual abuse can be devastating. We believe that all survivors are entitled to receive the best possible response to their needs whether or not they choose to report to the police.
