Kala The Arts (KTA) is a Hampshire based established arts in education charity and a South Asian (Odissi) dance company. Its aim is to strive for excellence and creativity in South Asian dance and other related arts through its various works/developmental projects like workshops, residencies, training programmes, performances and productions. Its objective is to actively engage, entertain and empower the participants/audience through its various programmes of work, which become rich and satisfying experiences. It embraces education and life long learning as its core values. The organisation offers workshops to schools, local communities, families and regular classes in Indian dance and music. The professional work of the organisation consists of touring performances to venues in South East. These all are carried on by a dedicated team of local, national and international artists.
