The Hampshire Countryside Service manages a wide range of sites in the county which provide many opportunities for people to access and enjoy the countryside. We have seven major country parks, and several nature reserves and historic sites, which together provide a wide and diverse range of places to visit.
We protect and conserve the heritage of landscape, wildlife and historic places and our sites are host to a wide range of activities including education. We protect and maintain over 4,500 km of footpaths, bridleways and byways which enable people to walk and explore the county. So whether you are interested in heritage, the natural world and magnificent views, or you just want to go for a walk in the countryside, our sites have something to offer.
