Basingstoke East Scout District is just one small part of the UK Scouting Family with a membership of nearly half a million young people and over 115,000 adult volunteers.
Basingstoke East Scout District is one of two districts covering the Basingstoke area. The district has ten groups, most having Beaver (6 - 8 yrs), Cub (8 - 10 1/2 yrs), and Scout (10 1/2 - 14 yrs) sections. There are also two Explorer (14 - 18 yrs) sections in the district.
The district comprises, Basingstoke town centre, Black Dam, Chineham, Eastrop, Lychpit, Oakridge, Old Basing, Popley, South View and the Villages to the south east of Basingstoke.
