We are a small charity that supports the 9 ensembles and 300 young people of Basingstoke Area Youth Orchestras and Choirs. We meet formally as Trustees 6 times per year.
2019 Ensemble activities include
1 hour rehearsals per week in term time plus a Residential Training Weekend and 2 day workshops with a conductor / composer.
At least 3 concerts per year for each ensemble (Including one combined concert at the Anvil, Basingstoke.) Organising the Mayor’s Charity Appeal Concert at the Anvil. Performing at the Hampshire County Council Chairman’s concert at Winchester Cathedral and a concert tour to Germany.
