Befriender (face-to-face) - Rushmoor

Are you a friendly person who likes to chat? And do you have an hour to spare a week?

We are looking for people to join our friendly team of volunteer Befrienders to help support members of the Rushmoor community who find themselves lonely and isolated.

Befriending is face-to-face and is during the day.

As a Befriender you will be helping to improve the quality of life for those who find themselves socially isolated within their homes. Our Befriending Coordinator will match and introduce you to the person who you will visit on a weekly basis for an hour at a time that suits you and the person who you will be befriending.

This is a very rewarding role that brings friendship, company and a chance to really contribute to the community.
