We are looking for keen, friendly people to act as drivers for those without access to transport in Hartley Wintney, Heckfield, Mattingley and Winchfield who need to attend essential medical appointments. Just a couple of hours once or twice a month can make all the difference to local residents.
Clean driving licence and a friendly, chatty nature. You will be required to undergo a DBS check which we will arrange for you. Ideally volunteers will live in one of the four villages and so be familiar with the area.
Drivers will be required to often gently help the client into their vehicle so need to be physically able themselves.
