Fleet Town Girls & Ladies FC Volunteers

Formed in 2001, Fleet Town Girls Football Club was the first all girls club to achieve chartered status in Hampshire. The Ladies Adult section was formed in 2009 as a natural progression for players from Fleet Town Girls. The club continues to go from strength to strength and has teams for junior players of all ages as well as two ladies teams.

We have recently formed a partnership with Inspire Girls Football (IGF) FC - a Centre of Excellence that joins up all community girls club's to play in the Girls JPL on Saturdays, while they continue their grass roots development with their own clubs on Sundays.  This is very different from your standard Academy whereby we do not charge any fees to play as it is funded purely by donations and sponsorship. With this partnership, we have the perfect pathway for any girls to excel and potential be one of our future Lionesses!

We are looking to introduce new people to the Club. We have just launched our new identity with the unveiling of a new badge and the coming together of all 4 sections (Girls, Ladies, Boys and Men) to form the Community Club, which now has a higher FA Status than our previous Charter Standard.

This is an opportunity to become part of a growing and very topical sport with one of the leading clubs in the county. There are various roles and we will always welcome anyone who wants to be part of this exciting phase in our evolution.

Fleet Town Girls & Ladies FC is now looking for new volunteers to get involved in a number of capacities. The roles we are looking to fill include:

  • Match Pitch Co-ordinator - 2 hours per week max
  • Training venue Facilitator - ad hoc to deal with changes = possible 1 hour per month in total
